A clincial academic with 30 years experience in Clinical Trials, epidemiology and translational research. Professor Morris has led large clinical trials that have informed practice internationally, including those evaluating the management of prterm premature rupture of the membranes and th eoptimal timing of umbilical cord clamping following preterm birth. He oversees a maternity safety program in Australia that provides near real time insights into safety and quality of maternity services across NSW. He is the Deputy Chair of the Australian Preterm Prevention Alliance which has reduced early births in Australia. As Chief Medical Officer of VitalTrace he is the clinical lead of the development of a novel technology to make births safer for mothers and babies.
