Independent research interests include the use of machine learning to predict and prevent adverse pregnancy outcomes. High impact work includes the development of machine learning models for predicting stillbirth and placenta accreta. Other areas of interest include assessment of psychological outcomes following pregnancy and adverse pregnancy events, as well as understanding placental dysfunction. Current and future research interests include validation of prior algorithms using novel data approaches and implementation of algorithms within electronic health record.
