Michelle DeMeo, MD is a second-year Obstetrics and Gynecology resident at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics in Madison, Wisconsin. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Rush Medical College, where she also completed the Health Equity and Social Justice Leadership Certificate Proram. Prior to medical school, Dr. DeMeo completed a Pre-Medicine Post-Baccalaureate Program at Northwestern University and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Human Health from Emory University, where she was a member of the women's varsity tennis team and an NCAA Division III National Champion. Her research focuses on maternal morbidity, health equity, and clinical outcomes in obstetrics, including ongoing work examining aspirin dosing for preeclampsia prevention and its association with postpartum hemorrhage. She is committed to advancing evidence-based, equitable maternal health care through both clinical practice and academic research.
