Dr. Gali Garmi is a clinical assistant professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Ruth and Bruce Rappaport faculty of medicine, Technion, Haifa Israel. She is the director of the risk management service of labor and delivery and a senior physician in the obstetrics and gynecology department in Emek Medical Center, Afula Israel.
Dr. Garmi is a member of the board of the Israeli society of obstetrics and gynecology, and a member of the Israeli Medical Association and the Israeli society of maternal- fetal medicine. She serves as the liaison for research matters between the Technion faculty of medicine and Emek Medical Center. She is a member of the scientific council of the Israel Medical Association and of the Medical Licensing Examination Committee of the Scientific Council of the Israel Medical Association.
Dr. Garmi's main research interest is the study of parturition, normal and complicated deliveries, pre-term labor, induction of labor, labor distocia, and placenta acrreta. She presented her work in many conferences and won awards including best resident, best Israeli research awarded by the Israely Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine and best poster awarded by Emek Medical Center.
Dr. Gali Garmi gained her medical education at the Ruth and Bruce Rappaport Technion faculty of medicine, residency at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Emek University Medical Center. She is highly involved in medical education, teaching medical students, interns as well residents and mentors them in research projects.
