Anna Ulrey is a third-year medical student at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Heersink School of Medicine. Her academic and research interests center on maternal and child health, particularly addressing structural and geographic disparities in care delivery across Alabama. Anna has contributed to multiple public health projects focused on perinatal quality improvement, fetal and infant loss prevention, and health equity initiatives. She hopes to pursue a career that bridges clinical practice with community-based maternal health advocacy and policy
