Dr. Işıl Ayhan is an Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a maternal–fetal medicine specialist at Antalya City Hospital. Her clinical and academic focus is on perinatology, high-risk pregnancy care, and fetal medicine, with particular expertise in advanced ultrasonography and the prenatal diagnosis of fetal anomalies.
Her research portfolio emphasizes the clinical application of ultrasound in obstetrics, particularly in refining diagnostic accuracy for fetal anomalies and enhancing prenatal monitoring for adverse outcomes such as fetal growth restriction, preterm birth, and hypertensive disorders. She has contributed to institutional and multicenter studies that aim to improve maternal and neonatal outcomes through evidence-based imaging.
Dr. Ayhan is an active member of the Turkish Society of Maternal and Fetal Medicine, where she contributes to national scientific and educational initiatives.
