Laura Jacques is an Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, where she serves as the Director of Medical Student Education. Dr. Jacques is a board-certified obstetrician–gynecologist with clinical expertise in complex vulvovaginal disorders, family planning, and abortion care, and she provides care in multiple specialty clinics across UW Health.
Her scholarship bridges education and reproductive health equity. She is currently leading projects examining the impact of the Dobbs decision on reproductive healthcare access and training. Nationally, Dr. Jacques is recognized for her leadership in values clarification training and her commitment to advancing evidence-based, equitable, and patient-centered reproductive healthcare through collaborations with the Wisconsin Department of Health Services and organizations such as SFP, SASGOG, and APGO-CREOG.
