Dr. Tamar Katzir is a fifth-year Chief Resident in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Kaplan Medical Center, with a strong clinical and academic focus on labor-room management, intrapartum ultrasound, and pelvic floor medicine. Her research centers on optimizing decision-making during childbirth, particularly during the second stage of labor, and on the short- and long-term physical and psychological consequences of delivery-related pelvic floor injury. Through clinical research, multidisciplinary collaboration, and innovation-driven projects, she is dedicated to advancing evidence-based obstetric care and improving outcomes for women’s health.
