Sydney Bethers is a second-year medical student at Oregon Health & Science University. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology from the University of Oregon, where she completed an honors thesis in the field of neuroscience. Her current academic interests focus on maternal-fetal medicine, with a particular emphasis on improving outcomes for complicated pregnancies and helping mothers reach term with healthy babies. Additionally, she serves on the board of the Mobile Health Student Group at OHSU, which aims to expand healthcare access and provide medical education to underserved communities.
