Hillary McLaren, MD, MSc, is an academic OB-GYN and board-certified Complex Family Planning subspecialist at the University of Chicago. She serves as Assistant Program Director of the Complex Family Planning fewllowship. She is a national referral provider for high-risk and complex abortion care. Her clinical, research, and quality-improvement work focuses on evidence-based abortion care, abnormal early pregnancy management, and gender-affirming care, with a strong emphasis on education, systems improvement, and mentorship. She is committed to building compassionate, rigorous training programs and advancing evidence-based, patient-centered reproductive health care.
