Obstetrics and Gynecology Resident

Monica Rodriguez is a third-year obstetrics and gynecology resident at Medical City Arlington and plans to pursue a fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine. She earned both her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and Master of Public Health degrees from the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth. During residency, she serves as Wellness Champion and Chair of the Wellness Committee, represents her peers on the Graduate Medical Education Committee, and is the junior fellow program representative for ACOG District XI. Her research interests include maternal health disparities, placenta accreta spectrum disorders, and management of obstetric hemorrhage. She is passionate about advancing maternal healthcare and improving outcomes for underserved populations.
