Clinical Research Coordinator III
Loma Linda University Children's Health | Perinatal Institute
My name is Nida Nasreen Ali, BS, and I am a Clinical Research Coordinator III at Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital’s, Department of Perinatal Institute Research, where I support a broad portfolio of maternal–fetal medicine and neonatal research studies. In my role, I coordinate IRB submissions, regulatory compliance, patient recruitment, REDCap data systems, and cross-team communication to ensure smooth execution of complex clinical research activities.
My research interests include maternal health, perinatal immunology, hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, and neonatal outcomes. I currently contribute to multiple ongoing studies—ranging from maternal inflammation and postpartum hypertension to placenta-based investigations, NICU cardiopulmonary monitoring, and stem-cell–based therapies—while co-authoring manuscripts and abstracts for SMFM 2026.
I aspire to become a physician-scientist specializing in pediatrics; though I am also very passionate about autoimmune disease research. Throughout my career, I strive to advance clinical science, improving care pathways for underserved populations, and helping translate scientific discovery into meaningful improvements in maternal and neonatal health.
