Susan Estabrooks Hahn, MS, CGC is currently Head of Market Access at Mirvie. In this role, Susan leads the development and implementation of coverage and reimbursement strategies. Mirvie has launched a proprietary RNA platform to predict complications like preeclampsia months before they occur. Mirvie’s Encompass test provides expectant parents and their doctors an early window to intervene with preventive measures before unexpected pregnancy complications become a crisis.
Prior to joining Mirvie, Susan was the Director of Payer Access and Reimbursement at Quest Diagnostics. Susan is nationally recognized for initiating and leading research, outreach, educational, clinical, and policy activities to facilitate and expand the responsible translation of genomic medicine in the clinical setting and advance genetic counseling at Duke and the University of Miami. Susan has published numerous peer-reviewed articles, encyclopedia entries, and chapters, including a joint practice guideline between ACMG and NSGC. Susan is a Board-certified Genetic Counselor. She earned her Master's from Brandeis and her BS in biology from George Washington University. She was also President of the American Board of Genetic Counseling in 2014.
