The number of Fetal Care Centers (FCCs) is increasing, now approaching almost fifty across the United States. A significant proportion are located with many in abortion-restricted states or affiliated with institutions unable to provide abortion care. This forum examines this intersection in care and how patients can be equitably counseled and care facilitated while ensuring patient safety and legal limitations. Specifically, we will examine the practical, ethical, and logistical considerations involved in providing comprehensive care—prenatal diagnosis, maternal-fetal intervention, and abortion care later in pregnancy.
